Obituary: Geraldine Paulson Patrone, 82, of Shelton

Geraldine Paulson Patrone, age 82, of Shelton, beloved wife of the late Gerald J. Patrone passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 in Apple Rehab Shelton Lakes with her family by her side.

Born in Bridgeport on January 24, 1932, she was a daughter of the late George and Maude Dixon Paulson.

A kind and generous mother, she was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed going to the casino.

Survivors include four children, Michael Patrone and his wife Donna of Milford, Thomas Patrone and his wife Laura of Lutz, FL, Girard Patrone and his partner Mark Leska of Derby and Michelle Patrone and her spouse Jackie Palmieri of Stratford, her companion, Ted Wendell, a brother, George Paulson of Bridgeport, a sister, Jeanne Hajducky and her husband Andrew Sr. of Avon, five grandchildren, R. J. Bass, Michael, Thomas Joseph, Matthew and Stacy Patrone, three great grandchildren, Lynne Bass, Tatiana Isabella and Breena Patrone as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by three sisters, Nancy Ramos, Judy Doyle and Diane Stuart and a great grandson, Nicky Kindred.

Funeral services will take place on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Entombment will be private at the convenience of the family.

Lawrence “Larry” W. Pitcher, age 66, of Milford, beloved husband of Lorna Ferranti Pitcher for 49 years, died on Saturday, August 23.

Larry was born in Brooklyn, NY on June 17, 1948 to the late Reginald and Gwendolyn Hickey Pitcher.

Larry attended Villanova College before serving our country honorably in Vietnam for 5 years. He was a lifetime member of the VFW in Devon and was an avid Mets Fan. Larry worked as a meat cutter at A&P for 15 years and retired from Stop & Shop.

Survivors include his children: Carol Ann Pitcher Westphal (Mathew) of West Haven, Matthew R. Pitcher (Trisha) of Milford and Lawrence J. Pitcher (Alicia) of Naugatuck, grandson, Nicholas James Westphal, and sister, Regina Scheltmyer (Lawrence) of Norwalk.

Larry is predeceased by his sister, Lynn Reagan.

Claire Coulombe Phelan

Claire Coulombe Phelan, died Saturday, August 23, 2014.

She was born February 5, 1927 to the late Mary Moriarty Coulombe and Lionel Coulombe.

She was one of seven brothers and sisters, and a lifelong resident of Milford. She was employed by the Metro North Railroad, formerly the New York, New Haven and Hartford railroad for 32 years, and a proud union member. In her retirement she found renewed passion in service to her community. She was chairwoman of Milford Human Resources Development and Family and Youth Services Agency. She was also on the board of directors of combined Parishes Action Committee. Beth El Center, past board member, executive committee and allocations representative of the Agency on Aging of South Central Connecticut.

Claire has been the City of Milford representative to the regional Mental Health Board, and has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors at Bridges. She has served on the executive committee and member of the State Board of Mental Health and Addictive Services, as well as Chair of Area Council 6, of the local Council of Regional Health Board. She was a lifelong Democrat, serving in many capacities with the Democratic Town Committee.

She was an avid reader, belonged to a book club. She participated in Bible study and was a member of her beloved knitwit club- sharing life time friendships in all these organizations. In 2008 she was named one of Milford Living Treasures; in 2007 the State of Connecticut, named February 5th as Claire Phelan Day.

Claire was predeceased by her Husband Robert Edward Phelan, and her oldest son Robert Edward Phelan Jr. She was also predeceased by her brothers Lionel ,Raymond ,and Robert Coulombe, and her sisters Marie Slavin,Bernice Hebert, and Rita Nomjeko.

She is survived by her children James Dennis Phelan of Pa., and Daughters Elizabeth Rivera and her husband Nelson Rivera, and Kathleen Phelan , all of Milford; her daughter in law Ethel Phelan of West Haven CT,, her sister in law Rosemary Phelan (husband Peter), Stella Coulombe, NJ, and Roselie Coulombe of Georgia. , eleven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, a great great grandson, and many loving nieces, nephews and beloved friends.

Visitation will be held, Wednesday August 27, 2014 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 N. Broad Street, Milford. Funeral Thursday, leaving at 10:30 am from the funeral home for a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Agnes Church Milford at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery Milford.

Gregory G. Bailey, age 54, of Bridgeport, the loving father of Adam Bailey, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 with his family by his side.

Born in Bridgeport to Florence (Potts) Bailey of Fairfield and the late Louis Bailey, Jr., he was a lifelong area resident.

Greg was a graduate of Fairfield Prep and obtained a B.S. in Business at Curry College. He was the President of Mitchell and Bailey, Inc. that specialized in mechanical contracting. Greg belonged to the Mechanical Contractor’s Association as well as the German Club in Bridgeport.

He was an avid sports fan and especially supported the New York Mets and Giants.

In addition to his son and mother, Greg is survived by his devoted siblings, Louis Bailey, III of Oxford, Thomas (Renee) Bailey of North Branford, James Bailey of Branford, Ellen Gianola of Milford and John (Jennifer) Bailey of Trumbull. He will also be missed by his nieces and nephews, Duane, Christen, Jessica, Michael and Morgan; his former spouse, Sandra Turk of Arlington, VT; and his dog, Blaze.

Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Monday, August 25, 2014 at 11 a.m. directly at St. Pius X Church in Fairfield. Interment will be private. Friends may greet the family on Sunday, August 24, 2014 from 2 – 5 p.m. at the Shaughnessey Banks Funeral Home, 50 Reef Rd. in Fairfield Center.

Joan Marie Autuori, 71, of Milford and beloved wife to Joseph Autuori passed away peacefully on August 13, 2014 at Bridgeport Hospital.

Born on July 8, 1943 in Bridgeport, CT, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Mary Mills Potsch.

Until her retirement, Joan was a cook at Harding High School for the city of Bridgeport.

Devoted to her family, Joan will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. The family would like to thank all the kind individuals who have been a source of love, care and support for both Joan and her family in recent years.

In addition to her husband Joseph of 50 years, she is survived by her children; Dawn O’Brien of Orange, Kelley Lambert and her husband Richard of Milford and Lisa Dodge and her husband Michael of North Haven; seven grandchildren Danielle, Joseph, Jacob, Thomas, Nicholas, Samantha and Matthew as well as her sister Charlotte Paulson and her husband George and many more loving family members and friends.

Joan is predeceased by her sister Shirley Walsh.

Richard Evancho, 72, longtime resident of Milford, and beloved husband of Teresa (Pirulli) Evancho, passed away on August 23, 2014.

Son of the late Michael and Anna Remplivitch Evancho, he was born on November 6, 1941 in Pennsylvania.

He was raised in Fairfield and lived in Milford for 48 years. He attended Andrew Warde High School and was a veteran of the US Navy. During his career as a machinist, he worked at Remington Arms, Bridgeport Machines and Moore Tools.

In addition to his wife, Richard is survived by his children, Susanne (Evancho) Olexovitch and her husband Scott, Richard Evancho, and Maria (Evancho) Straborny and her husband Chris, and his grandchildren, Joseph and Jason Olexovitch and Daniel and Ryan Straborny. He is also survived by his brother Michael Evancho and his wife Marge, as well as many brother and sister-in-laws and nieces and nephews.

Richard was predeceased by his nephew George Evancho.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 29th at 11:00AM at St. Agnes Church, 400 Merwin Avenue, Milford, CT with her interment to follow at Lawncroft Cemetery 1740 Black Rock Turnpike Fairfield, CT. Obituary: John Joseph Carriero, 48, of Milford

John Joseph Carriero, age 48, beloved husband to Leslie Lee Carriero and longtime resident of Milford, left this earth and departed to heaven peacefully at home on Saturday, August 23, 2014 surrounded by his loving family and friends after his 4 month, hard-fought, courageous battle with cancer. He took all that love with him to heaven.

Born on August 4, 1966 in Greenwich, CT, he was the son of Anthony and Barbara Fesett Carriero.

John was an incredibly strong man who loved his family and friends. He was a kind hearted, gentle soul who touched so many people’s hearts with his contagious loving smile. Even up to the very end, when he barely had any energy left, he was able to muster up strength to smile and kiss his wife, Leslie. He was a man of strength, courage and valor; John left this earth a fighter not a quitter!

John was admired by the wide circle of people whose lives he touched. He was an incredibly talented architect, avid Yankee fan, enjoyed being out on his boat, and possessed a third degree black belt in Martial Arts.

The Carriero family would like to extend their heart felt gratitude to Dr. Paul Berard and staff, the nurses from the Infusion Center at St. Vincent’s, the entire staff of the Oncology floor at St. Vincent’s, and to Dr. Mel Rosenblatt and his entire staff. They also would like to acknowledge their friends, neighbors, the St. Peter’s community, and all their co-workers during this incredibly difficult four months.

In addition to his loving wife Leslie, John was a proud and adoring father to his son Kyle John Carriero; brothers Steven Carriero (Suzanne) and Christopher Carriero (David); in-laws Stanley Lee (Shirley); brother-in-law Sean Lee; nephews Alex Carriero and Zachary Lee; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Celebration Of Life will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, August 30th at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 71 River Street, Milford CT 06460 (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH). Committal will be private.

Obituary: Thomas Blazek, 93 of Milford

Thomas Blazek, age 93 of Milford, CT, the beloved husband of Antoinette (Arciuolo) Blazek for 28 years, entered into eternal rest peacefully on Wednesday, August 13, 2014.

Born in Filbert, PA on June 21, 1921, he was the son of the late Joseph Blazek and Mary (Semancik) Blazek.

During his early life, Tom lived in Fairmont, WV and worked as a coal miner for 26 years and was a member of the United Mine Workers Union. He was a US Army Veteran and served in the Hawaiian Defense and also in the WWII European Theater of Operations as an expert gunner.

In 1985, he relocated to Milford and married Antoinette. He was a lover of nature and enjoyed bird watching and gardening his beautiful hibiscus and passion flowers. Tom and Ann thoroughly enjoyed travelling to Barbados which provided a lifetime of fond memories.

He was a devoted husband and he loved his extended family including daughters, Carla Mattioli of Rockport, MA., Maurine O’Connell and her husband Raymond of Stratford and grandchildren, Heather Sabatino of WV, Heather O’Connell of New Haven, Tara Mazuroski and her husband Scott of West Haven and Ray O’Connell, Jr. of Stratford. He enjoyed his two great grandchildren as well, Vincent and Angelo. He also leaves his sister Barbara Adams of WV, his brother Alfred Blazek of OH and his sister Margorie Tennant of IL.

Tom was predeceased by his parents and his loving daughter Sheila Munchin of Fairmont, WV.

Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service to be held at St. Mary Church, 70 Gulf St., Milford, CT. on Saturday, August 30th at 9:00 am. Arrangements are being handled by the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St, Milford, CT. 06460.

Obituary: Paul Grish, 62, of West Haven

Paul Grish, age 62, passed away at the Grimes Center at Yale in New Haven on Tuesday, August 26.

Born in Winsted, he was the son of the late Sam and Emily Grish.

He grew up in Manchester and spent many of his adult years living and working in the greater Hartford area until moving to West Haven in 2001.

Paul was strong willed and soft hearted. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and loved sitting in the sun. Paul lived life HIS way.

He will be missed by his loving sister Tina Kosh and her husband Ron of Milford. He also leaves behind a brother Peter Grish and his wife Cindi of Portland, Texas, nieces Shannon Lombardo and Amy Kosh of New York City, and grandnephews Evan and Nico.

Many thanks to the staff at the Grimes Center who became his extended family. We are grateful for your care.

Obituary: Phillip Anthony DiVincenzo Jr., 19, recent Foran graduate

Phillip Anthony DiVincenzo Jr., 19 years old, entered into eternal rest peacefully on August 28, 2014 in Yale New Haven Hospital with his loving family by his side.

Born in Bridgeport on November 9, 1994 he lived in Milford and Seymour, CT.

A recent graduate of Foran High School in 2013, Phillip was always a good-natured, caring person with a soft spoken voice and a gentle soul. He had a kind-hearted spirit, and would have done anything for his friends and family if they were in need.

Phillip was an avid fan of basketball, especially the UCONN Huskies and Boston Celtics, who also played in PAL basketball games. He was also a fan of soccer, including the Italian National Team. Phillip enjoyed fishing, participating many times in the annual Bluefish Fishing Tournament across Long Island Sound. He loved to watch movies and was very proud of his DVD collection. He always enjoyed spending time with his dog Max, who valued his companionship.

One of his happiest moments in life was when Phillip visited Italy during his Senior class trip, experiencing Italian culture and learning more about his Italian roots. Phillip touched so many people’s lives during his short life and his absence will be deeply felt.

He was loved very much by his many friends and family members who will be forever heartbroken, especially his Nonni and Nonno, who cared for him throughout his entire life with all their heart and soul. Life will never be the same without his presence and he will be missed every day. Phillip will always be remembered by those who loved him and he will never be forgotten.

Survivors include his father, Phillip A. DiVincenzo Sr., of Seymour and his mother, Susan (Perlman) DiVincenzo, of Milford, his three brothers, Michael Carlo DiVincenzo, Bryan Thomas DiVincenzo, and Jason Parana, all of Milford, two uncles, Joseph DiVincenzo of Waterbury, and David DiVincenzo, of Bridgeport, his paternal grandparents, Carlo and Pietra DiVincenzo, of Bridgeport, and maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Perlman of Patterson, NY. Phillip also left behind many cousins and second cousins, who loved him and will miss him very much.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Victor Perlman.

Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at 10:00 AM DIRECTLY in St. Andrew Church, 435 Anton St., Bridgeport with a Mass of the Christian Burial. Entombment in St. Michael Cemetery, Garden Mausoleum, Stratford. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Parente-Lauro Funeral Home, 559 Washington Ave., Bridgeport.

Philip Collucci, age 90, of Milford, beloved husband of Philomena Mariano Collucci for 66 years, died on Thursday, August 28th.

Philip was born in Milford on March 17, 1924 to the late Anthony and Lena Collucci.

Philip honorably served in the US Army earning the distinguished award of the Purple Heart. He was part owner of Collucci Brother’s Construction where he worked for his entire career.

Survivors include his children: Gary (Lynn) Collucci and Patricia (William) Wysocki both of Milford, two grandchildren; Ashely and Heather Collucci, three brothers; Carmen, Joe and Anthony Collucci Jr. all of West Haven and several nieces and nephews.

Frank D. Marinaccio, age 85, of Trumbull, beloved husband of Rose Petruzzo Marinaccio, passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center.

Born in Harrison, NY on July 24, 1929, he was a son of the late Philip and Giovannina Vechiola Marinaccio.

A U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War, he graduated from Warren Harding High School in 1948. Mr. Marinaccio was the owner and operator of Phillip’s Shoe Store and later Schneider’s Shoe Store, both on Bridgeport’s East side. He was a member of the VFW Post #10099 in Trumbull and the Knights of Columbus, Park City Council.

Frank loved ballroom dancing and enjoyed bowling and was an avid golfer.

In addition to Rose, his wife of 62 years, survivors include a son, Philip V. Marinaccio and his wife Renee of Milford, a daughter, Barbara Pisacreta and her husband Bill of Newtown, four grandchildren, Philip A. Marinaccio, Jenna Rose Ligouri and her husband Antonio, Joseph Frank Pisacreta and Gina Marie Pisacreta, a brother, Leonard Marinaccio and his wife Loretta of West Haven, a sister, Lucille DePeano and her husband Albert of Trumbull and sister-in-law, Emma DeEsso of Larchmont, NY as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was pre-deceased by two sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Jane and Herbert Walker and Antoinette and Joseph Capalbo.

Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull on Friday, September 5, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Raymond Peter Czaplicki, age 93, beloved husband of the late Sophie Blaskewicz Czaplicki of Milford, died on Sunday, August 31, 2014 at Cambridge Manor in Fairfield.

Son of the late Ignatz and Josephine Ulatowski Czaplicki, Raymond was born in Bridgeport on December 5th, 1920.

Ray served in the Army for 6 years during World War II. He was a professional truck driver, an avid wood worker and carver, and a very proficient pool player all of his life. His fellow pool players at the Milford Senior Center competed to be his partner in their daily pool matches over the last thirty years.

Raymond is survived by two sons, Edward R. Czaplicki and his wife, JoAnne, of Milford, Thomas P. Czaplicki and Judy Isak of Virginia Beach, VA; his daughter, Sister Susan Czaplicki, SSND of Baltimore, MD; two grandsons, Justin E. Czaplicki and Jenn Corbett of Meriden, CT, and Matthew R. Czaplicki and his wife, Rebecca, of East Haven, CT and two great-grandsons, Connor M. and Dylan M. Czaplicki, along with many nieces, nephews and grandnieces.

Raymond was predeceased by his two brothers, Edward Czaplicki, and Zigmunt Czaplicki, and sister, Evelyn Cwik.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 4th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Gabriel Church, 26 Broadway, Milford CT 06460 with his interment to follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery, 2205 Stratford Ave, Stratford CT 06615. Steven Hersey, age 58, resident of Milford and beloved companion of Susan Morrissey, passed away on September 1, 2014.

Son of the late Paul and Betty Hersey, he was born on August 26, 1956 in Houlton, Maine.

Steven enjoyed fishing, bowling, and spending time playing with his grandchildren. He was an avid fan of the New England Patriots, the Boston Red Sox, and UConn sports.

In addition to Susan, Steven is survived by his step-children Colleen Beirne (Thomas) and Christine Morrissey, and his step-grandchildren, Thomas and Collin Beirne and Samantha Morrissey. He is also survived by his siblings, Kathy Brown, Paula Reynolds (Steve), Connie Sturgeon, Sandy Hallet (Kevin), Peggy Prest, Jeff Hersey, and Vaughn Hersey (José), as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

A prayer service will be held on Saturday, September 6th at 10:00 a.m. at Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street, Milford CT 06460 with internment to follow at East Lawn Cemetery, 58 River Street, East Haven CT 06512. Son of the late Adam and Stella Wontrobska Lukasik, he was born in Manhattan on June 4th, 1929.

Francis was an avid sports fan who particularly enjoyed the Yankees and the Giants. He also loved tennis, gardening and most of all being a father.

Francis is survived by his daughter Carol Lukasik, his niece Connie Princi and his nephews Richard, Keith, William and Robert Lukasik, as well as many loving great-nieces and nephews.

Francis is predeceased by his wife Marilyn King Lukasik, daughter Laura Ann Lukasik, his sister Marie Lukasik and his brothers, Adam Jr, William and Edwin Lukasik.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 6th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Agnes Church, 400 Merwin Avenue, Milford CT 06460. Friends and family may call on Friday, September 5th, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street, Milford CT 06460.

Robert F. Shedlock, age 60, of Stratford, beloved husband of Maureen McDermott Shedlock, passed away on Friday, September 5, 2014 in Bridgeport Hospital.

Bob a Team Associate for Home Depot, was born in Bridgeport to the late George and Barbara (Krosky) Shedlock and has been a life long area resident.

He retired after thirty-four years from Dresser Industries. Bob was a former Golden Glove Boxer for Stratford P.A.L., and was an avid sports fan, especially the Cincinnati REDS.

Survivors in addition to his beloved wife of forty-one years, include his 4 devoted children, Tracy Kyrytschenko and her husband Greg of Seymour, Sandy Dickens, Joe Shedlock and his wife Jen, and Brian Shedlock and his wife Kristen, all of Stratford, 6 cherished grandchildren, Caroline, Nicholas, Layla, Carter, Tyler, and Addison, 2 brothers, George Shedlock and his wife Donna of Arizona, and Al Shedlock and his wife Denise of Milford, brothers and sisters-in law, John and Karen McDermott of France, Kathy and John Cinicola of Stratford, Bob and Charlene McDermott of Southbury, and Pat and Sue McDermott of Shelton, several nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog Rudy.

In addition to his parents he was pre-deceased by his brother, Michael Shedlock, and sisters, Barbara Everlith and Joan Shedlock.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 9th at 10: 30 a.m. in St. James Church 2070 Main Street Stratford. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Monday from 4-7 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home 50 Paradise Green Place Stratford.

Natalie Ritchie VanHise, age 99, passed away on Friday, September 5, 2014 at her home with Seasons Hospice, surrounded by her loving family.

A lifelong Milford resident, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Anna Ritchie.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she is survived by her loving husband, of 77 years, Burton VanHise, dedicated son Errol VanHise and his wife Ruthann of Milford, grandchildren Trevor, Susan and Corrinne VanHise and nine great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 8, 2014 in Milford Cemetery at 2pm with Rev. Adam Eckhart. Donations may be made in her name to First United Church of Christ, Congregational, 34 East Main St., Milford, CT 06460. Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 Broad St., Milford is handling the arrangements.

Obituary: Michael Alexander Berky, Jr, D.D.S., 78, of Milford

Michael Alexander Berky, Jr, D.D.S., age 78, of Milford beloved husband of Patricia Chubb Berky past away peacefully on Friday September 5, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family after a brief illness.

Born in Bridgeport on February 20, 1936 he was the son of the late Michael Sr, and Catherine Takasch Berky.

He was a graduate of Milford High School, Class of 1953, and the University of Connecticut, Class of 1957. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Temple University in 1961. He was a Captain in the U. S. Army from 1964 to 1966 being station at Fort Polk, LA. After his service he returned to Milford and began practicing in Milford and New Haven in 1966. He was a past president of the Milford Dental Association, a lifetime member of both the American Dental Association and Connecticut State Dental Association. He loved practicing dentistry retiring from practice in January of 2014.

He enjoyed tennis, chess and the playing the violin, as well as traveling with his wife. He also loved UConn basketball. He met his beloved wife Patricia Chubb in Philadelphia while they were both attending Temple University and they were married on May 28, 1958.

In addition to his beloved wife of 55 years, survivors include two daughters Karin Kemper and her husband Timothy Kemper,of Alpharetta, GA, Michelle Berky of Milford, and a son M. Kurt Berky, DDS, and his wife Brenda Berky of Madison, five grandchildren Brittany, Molly, and Ned Berky, and Jimmy and Julia Kemper. A sister Catherine “Sissy” Tickey, of Stratford and a sister-in-law Lynn Berky of Trumbull as well as many nieces.

He was predeceased by his brother Jack Berky of Trumbull.

Funeral services will take place on Tuesday September 9, 2014 at 10:30 at St. Mary’s Church in Milford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow at Kings Highway Cemetery, Cherry St. Milford. Calling hours will be on Monday September 8, 2014 from 5pm to 8 pm at Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 N. Broad St Milford.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to the Smilow Cancer Center, 333 Cedar Street, PO Box 208028New Haven, CT. 06520.

Andrew Joseph McPartland, age 76, of Milford, died September 3, 2014 in Milford Hospital. He was the husband of the late Lydia McCarthy McPartland.

Son of the late Andrew John and Anna Ford McPartland, dear brother of the late John E. McPartland, dear brother of Regina A. McPartland of Milford.

Andrew was a graduate of Fairfield Preparatory School and attended Boston College. While certain conditions hovered over Andrew, he consistently practiced the virtues of faith, hope and above all charity, to all men. All for the honor and glory of God.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Wednesday, September 10th 2014 at 10:30 AM directly in St. Mary’s Church, Milford. Interment will follow in St Lawrence Cemetery, West Haven. The arrangements are in the care of Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 Broad St., Milford.
